Run and make a difference for women who once had hopes and dreams for their life, just like you and I, but whose dreams faded into a nightmare when they were forced, tricked and coerced into a life of modern day slavery. They are the victims of sex trafficking in Italy and they are trapped in the darkness of the deplorable commercial sex industry.

IT'S HAPPENING...
Survivors of human trafficking in Italy can now have a place of refuge, restoration, and recovery.
This campaign has made the difference over the last three years. Alba Safe House & Recovery Program opened its doors in 2022 and it is no longer a dream but a reality! We have reached hundreds of victims through outreach both directly and/or indirectly through our partner organizations with Radiant Treasures Alliance. Since opening our doors we have served 5 survivors in our pilot program efforts.
We have momentum and we want it to keep growing!
Will you join us? We are already preparing for a larger facility to meet the tremendous need. Working together with you we can expand our impact providing more opportunities of true freedom and recovery to hundreds of survivors of human trafficking.
About the Run - Collaboration is the key!
Alba Run for Recovery is our annual fundraising campaign bringing people of all ages together anywhere in the world to say no to sexual exploitation. It exists as an avenue that empowers you and your community to make a difference in the lives of the victims of sex trafficking.
Will you join us?
This year we envision a collaborative, cross cultural effort across Italy, Europe, and the United States. ARFR23 participants will run, walk, swim, cycle and more together to support the recovery of survivors in Italy.
Alba Run For Recovery is a virtual run and fundraiser event purposed to expand our current pilot program into our full vision to accomodate and assist up 20 survivors per location. Together we can champion refuge, recovery, restoration, and reintegration for women who have been exploited through sex trafficking in Italy and have nowhere else to run.
CONNECT
Which sport do you like best: walking, hiking, running, swimming, cycling, lifting weights, basket ball, baseball, pickle ball, or something else? This virtual campaign is a great opportunity to bring your family and friends together! Recruit a team, host a block party, initiate a tournament, or simply do what you do best to foster changed lives! Contact us with you ideas or if you have any questions!

Raising awareness is a vital part of the movement to end modern day slavery and your run can shine a light on that dark reality while providing for the desperate need for a safe house that offers personalized wrap around care to those who survive sexual exploitation.
